Additional Resources
This page has a list of additional resources that do not fit into the other categories onto this website. They are not listed in a particular order, because they are pretty random types of resources. I may later find a common theme between several of the resources, and create another page representative of that theme.
This is an online resource, in which teachers can write a brief description of what they need grants for in their classroom. Donors can choose to donate money for specific teachers, school, causes, etc. A good resource for additional funding for projects, technology acquisition, or general classroom needs beyond the school allotted funding. From lesson plans, behavior management strategies, and case studies to teacher-related comics, this site has a multitude of informational topics. Here is the website: UOTeacher Knowledge Journal. From this site, it is also possible to access previous and latter cohort journal webpages by changing the cohort number in the URL.

These are all sites that are more-or-less students friendly and classroom appropriate. Of course, as with all internet extravaganzas, pre-searches done by the teacher are suggested. Some of these are to make custom searches, in which students can only search specific websites or pages. Others are databases with child-appropriate material. Some are better than others for specific tasks, depending on what that might be. Click on the title of the engines on the right, or the links underneath, to explore each one.

This website, if a school is registered, can be very useful. It has general forms in over 20 languages, and can be used as a resource for teachers to send home to families and students whose first language is not English. There are hundreds of different types of forms to communicate with and notify parents, such as health forms, field trip forms, classroom-specific forms, and so forth. Many of the forms are fillable, so names, addresses, and times/dates can be entered. TransAct
