About me
My name is Stephanie and I am currently a Substitute Teacher for all elementary school grades. I finished my M.Ed in Curriculum and Teaching through the University of Oregon with an ESOL endorsement. Additionally, I have been working toward a reading endorsement through Portland State University in the READ Oregon program.
For the last several years, I have been collecting resources from other teachers, finding them online, or creating materials, lessons, and units myself. I created this site as a space to store and organize these materials until I have my own classroom to use them in (getting them onto the site is a constant work-in-progress!). My hope is to have a classroom in which I can utilize some of these resources to establish a more meaningful and engaging learning environment. I also hope that some of the resources can be shared with other teachers In the meantime, I plan to continue adding to this site any more useful materials that I come across. If you wish to contact me via email for questions or suggestions, write to [email protected].

What's New? These are some of the resources recently added to the site.:
* Student-Friendly Search Engines On the Additional Resources page (Resource #5), I added a list of 6 useful search engines for students, or engines that are adaptable for students. Some are more useful than others, depending on the purpose of the searches. * Teaching With Technology On the Additional Resources page (Resource #8), I added a link to my technology blog. It shows the uses for several different technological tools that can be used in the classroom, and has links to collaborative projects we did in that class. In addition, it has a couple of PBL lessons that I created in 2010. |
